My Story

My journey into therapy is personal. I know the weight of cultural expectations, the pressures of professional life, and the quiet battles of trauma. I also know what it feels like to appear “fine” on the outside while carrying pain on the inside. These experiences shaped not only who I am, but also why I chose this work.

Therapy, for me, is about helping people feel less alone in those struggles. It’s about creating a space where you don’t have to pretend, perform, or explain yourself. You can simply be.

My Approach

Therapy with me is warm, direct, and collaborative. I’ll listen with care, but I’ll also be real with you, sometimes gently challenging the patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we’ll work on both understanding your story and building tools you can use right away.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I “get it” without them having to over-explain. They leave sessions feeling seen, grounded, and more at home in themselves.

Culturally-Sensitive, Trauma-Informed Therapist

Being trauma-informed means I see you as more than your struggles. I hold space for your story with compassion and without judgment, while gently helping you reconnect with your strength, calm, and sense of self.

Healing isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s more about honoring your resilience and supporting your growth.

Being culturally sensitive means you don’t have to educate me on the complexities of identity, migration, or cultural expectations.

Whether you’re navigating the pressure to succeed, the weight of family obligations, or the feeling of being caught between two worlds, I understand how heavy that can feel. My role is to help you feel seen, validated, and empowered to live more fully as yourself.
